​Q: How do speed dating events work in Utah?     

A: Speed dating gives Salt Lake singles the opportunity to meet several singles through a series of short on-on-one conversations, each lasting about 6 minutes. This format lets you quickly get to know multiple people in one evening and see if a spark is there.  Each event has a designated age range, so you can choose the Salt Lake City speed dating event that's the best fit for you.

Q: What happens when I arrive?  

A: Check in with your host, get settled and take a few minutes to get comfortable before we begin. We'll walk everyone through exactly how the evening works before the first date starts — no guessing required.

Q: How long are the conversations?    
A: Each one-on-one chat lasts 6 minutes, just enough to get a feel for whether you’d like to connect further.   

Q: What should I wear?    
A: Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. A little effort goes a long way in setting the tone for a fun night!
   
Q: How do matches work?  
A: While matches aren’t guaranteed, our events are designed to be low-pressure and enjoyable. Many participants walk away with new friends, connections, and a fun experience, even without a romantic match.

     
Q: What happens after the event?    
A: After the event, all participants will receive their matches by email or text. From there, you decide if you’d like to reach out and set up a second date.

 

Q: Where do I park?  

A: No need to figure it out when you get there. Parking and arrival details are sent before each event so you know where to park, where to go and what to expect when you arrive.

Q: Can I come alone?

A: Absolutely. Most people do. The event is structured to guide you through the evening, so there’s no awkward figuring out who to talk to or what happens next.

Q:What if I'm nervous?

A: That’s completely normal. The event is structured so you always know where to go, who you’re talking to and what happens next. Once the first conversation starts, the nerves usually settle pretty quickly.

Q:How many people will I meet?

A:Events are limited to 20 attendees, with an even mix of men and women whenever possible. Because life happens and there can be last-minute cancellations or no-shows, the exact number of dates may vary from event to event.

 

Q:Why are events limited in size?

A:Because more isn’t always better. Keeping events intentionally limited gives everyone more room, keeps the evening comfortable, and allows the experience to feel organized rather than crowded.
