Did Sparks Fly? Our Great Outdoors Speed Dating Recap!

Thank you to Proper Brewing for hosting our first Great Outdoors themed speed dating event! We had a fantastic turnout, a room buzzing with nervous excitement, and definitely saw a few sparks flying. 14 people left with at least one mutual match, hooray!

For those who joined us, we hope you had a fun and efficient evening meeting some new and interesting people. We saw a lot of great conversations happening, some genuine laughter, and even a few lingering chats as the bell rang (oops!).

Why we love hosting these events

There's a certain kind of magic in the air at these speed dating events. It's a unique blend of nervous anticipation, hopeful curiosity, and the electric potential of a new connection. And honestly? Being the one who helps create that space is something I absolutely love.

Let's be real, dating can be time-consuming and sometimes a little daunting. Speed dating cuts through the small talk and gets right to the heart of whether there's a connection. I admire everyone who walks through the door, putting themselves out there and embracing this unique way of meeting people. Hosting these events feels like supporting a community of brave individuals.

We love that every event is different. The mix of personalities, the flow of conversations, the little quirks that emerge – it all makes each speed dating night unique and fascinating. It keeps things interesting for me as a host, and I'm always curious to see what connections will blossom

What We Learned (and Loved!)

We always learn something new from each event, and this one was no exception. We loved seeing so many of you step outside your comfort zones and embrace the opportunity to meet someone new. The energy in the room was fantastic, and we truly appreciate everyone who came with an open mind and a positive attitude.

We also got some great feedback on the format, which we'll definitely take into consideration for future events.
