It’s hard to believe it’s already been two years since Strike Your Match hosted its very first speed-dating night in Salt Lake City. What began as an idea I’d been dreaming about for years — a way to bring genuine, face-to-face connection back into the dating scene — has grown into something truly special: a community.

Over the past two years, we’ve hosted fifteen unforgettable events, welcomed hundreds of singles, and watched countless sparks fly — from first smiles to first dates, to stories that kept going long after the last bell rang.

🌟 From a Wild Idea to a Reality (Show!)

What began as a passion project quickly gained momentum — and even caught the attention of a TV audience! Earlier this year, Strike Your Match was featured on TLC’s Sister Wives (Season 20), bringing a glimpse of Salt Lake’s dating scene to screens across the country. It was a surreal moment — one that reminded me how universal the search for connection really is, and how special it is to share that in real life with our community.

Every event is a reminder of why this works. Dating apps can be exhausting — endless profiles, mixed signals, and conversations that fizzle before they even start.
